About

I sit at the seam of systems and security — writing C++ close to the metal, breaking web apps with Burp Suite, and publishing what I learn.

Right now I'm pursuing an M.Tech in Information Security at NSUT, New Delhi, on the back of a B.Tech in CSE and a stint shipping gaming-peripheral firmware at Nimbus Gaming. My work keeps one theme: encryption and tooling that protect real people — keystrokes before they leave the browser, files before they leave the disk, clients before attackers find the gap.

Off the clock I'm building Japanese-learning tools for myself (JLPT N4 and climbing), maintaining an open knowledge base, and teaching a C++ game engine to render its first thousand summers.

Experience

Two rooms shaped me: a gaming-hardware lab shipping real firmware, and a Big-4 security team hunting real vulnerabilities.

Software Development Engineer

Jun 2024 — Aug 2025

Nimbus Gaming · Jhansi, U.P.

Companion software + embedded firmware for wireless gaming peripherals.

  • Built companion software for gaming peripherals — user-facing customization synced seamlessly with device firmware.
  • Co-developed C++ firmware for wireless mice on the PAW3360 sensor, holding a stable 1000Hz polling rate.
  • Cut driver size by 35% and designed the scalable architecture that paved the way for PAW3395 sensor integration.

Goals

/01

Open source that teaches

Ship lots of open-source tools that help learners and developers — kanji trainers, security utilities, study aids. Small tools, real users, public code.

/02

PhD abroad — Japan first

Pursue a doctorate where the research fits: Kyoto (Grad. School of Informatics), OIST, Hokkaido (IST), Tsukuba (CS), Kyushu, Tokyo Tech — and Tsinghua. A lab where research ships.

/03

Keep publishing

Turn M.Tech research at NSUT into more peer-reviewed, applied security work — crypto that leaves the paper.

/04

Climb the JLPT ladder

N4 is down; keep pushing technical Japanese toward fluency — enough to read specs and seminar papers, not just menus.
